My name is Nicolas Lagière, I'm 35 years old and of French Origin.

After graduating my Clinical Psychology & Psychopathology Degree in Paris,
I felt like it was time for me to get a change of life. Therefore I decided to move abroad to Greece & opened my first Private Excursions Agency in the Cycladic Islands. Strong of touring people for nearly a decade now, I moved back to Provence where my love for Exploration all began.

Nature Lover since I was a young kid, I always ran the forests, the coutryside fields or the mountains in a search of new discoveries. Always the nose in my naturalist books, I developed a strong passion about Wildlife, Flora & Nature in general. Most of this knowledge has also been inherited from my Grandfather, an amazing talented botanist & nature collector who taught me a lot.

Many years of bird watching have made me proficient in Ornithology. 
Through my trips & over the years I also developed a passion for the Underwater World & Scuba diving, & became a Certified Dive Master.
In order to ensure the safety of my clients during excursions, I'm also a Certified First Aid & Emergency First Responder. 

History Lover, and especially fan of Archaeology & Ancient Civilizations, 
Provence was the ideal playground growing up with its rich Past & History. Fan of Art connoisseur, I spent lots of time wandering museums & Auctions.

I also developed a passion for Photography from a very young age, trying to immortalize my explorations, observations & discoveries. (all the website pictures are mine)  Photos also help me to collect data on monitored species for Science, Universities & Conservation Programs, which I like to be involved with.

All of these Passions have led me to Travel all around the World, discovering new local Cultures, new Landscapes & Horizons.
Curious & generous of nature, I always liked to share my passions with others, passing on my Knowledge, that is why touring people became such an evidence. 

Frequent Traveler, I always find myself in a search of Authentic visits, far away from the crowded tourist attractions ! Focusing on exchanging with others, that is why I created "Wonders Of Provence", trying to build a special place where anyone can feel privileged to live a True Travel Experience. I know too well how important it is, and how strongly it can make a Trip to be remembered !
